Jennifer Abracht, Esquire
Jennifer Abracht has been a partner in the firm since 2008, practicing primarily in the areas of family law, personal injury litigation, estate planning, employment law, estate administration, and general commercial litigation. Before becoming partner in the firm, Ms. Abracht was an associate for the firm from 2003 through 2008.
Ms. Abracht is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Arizona, and she is a member of the bar association of both states. She is also admitted to practice in federal court.
Ms. Abracht received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 1991 and her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University in 1997, where she was an editor of the Law Journal, the Mentor Coordinator of the Women's Law Student Association, an inaugural member of the Mediation Clinic, and a member of the National Appellate Moot Court Team.
Ms. Abracht began her legal career in Phoenix, Arizona as an associate at the largest law firm in the Southwest, practicing primarily in the areas of medical malpractice defense and employment law. She then relocated with her family to southern Chester County and began practicing law in Kennett Square.
Ms. Abracht is the past president of the board of directors of Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit organization dedicated to attracting residents, visitors and businesses to Kennett Square and to keeping Kennett Square a vibrant "main street" town. She has also sat on the board of directors of the Kennett Area YMCA and served as a past chair of both its Financial Development Committee and Membership and Programs Committee.
In her spare time, Ms. Abracht enjoys spending time with her three children and two dogs, weightlifting, running, and reading.
