Estate Planning
The firm prepares wills, living trusts (both revocable and irrevocable), general and limited powers of attorney, and health care directives with so-called "living will" components. Our attorneys are committed to ascertaining our clients' estate planning needs and goals, and to recommending and drafting the estate planning documents appropriate for meeting those needs and goals. This involves a variety of documents that enable our clients to reduce their estate tax obligations to the maximum extent possible under the law, and to protect assets from diminishment after death. We begin by meeting with each client to discuss, in detail, their estate planning objectives. The firm then recommends and prepares the estate planning documents that are best-suited to meeting those objectives. Finally, we review those documents with the client to assure that the client fully understands them, and assure that the documents are properly executed and notarized if required.
