Our attorneys handle all aspects of estate administration, including assisting the estate's executor or administrator through all phases of estate administration. This includes opening the estate, advertising the estate, collecting all estate assets, paying all estate debts, preparing and finalizing the inheritance tax return(s), handling the estate checking account, preparing the estate accounting, and distributing the estate assets according to the Will. Our firm will handle virtually all of the tasks associated with administering an estate unless the client prefers to handle certain tasks on his or her own, in which case we provide guidance to ensure that the client acts in accordance with the law, thereby avoiding personal liability for errors or omissions.
